Here are a couple of pictures of the two puppers still available. Little Alani, the blue girl and Keaka the black tri boy. These pups will go any way you want. Alani will make a wonderful companion and would be great at agility or other sports. A fun little girl. Keaka is a big boy, one of the two largest in the litter. He is playful and loving. Hallie's litter is now 8 weeks old and the little ones are heading off to their new homes. Only have two babies left, little Alani, a blue merle girl and Keaka, a black tri boy. This litter is by Hall of Fame sire Ch Summertime One Tough Testimony - Quincy. He is producing puppers that can go any way. Mom is our good black tri girl Hallie, Criterias She's the Berries. Both are ASCA and AKC registered. Here is a picture of Quincy

Tilly's Litter with Brisbee

Tilly's litter arrived Jun 26 starting at 2:30am and finishing up at 9:30am. We had 8 little ones, 6 gilrs and 2 boys. This litter we decided to name after one of our favorite TV shows, NCIS, so we have a Jethro, Ducky, Abby, Ziva, Kate, Jenny, Sara and Sasha. Ran out of girls names so had to use some from CSI. We had all 4 colors. Babies are growing like weeds. We have 6 reserves on this letter and the buyers are chomping at the bit to come visit the new puppers.

The Litter is growing so fast, you can almost see it. All are happy and healthy puppers who will have their eyes open very shortly. All have had their tails and dews done with little set back at all. Hallie is still watchful over her little ones and sleeps next the the whelping box enterance when the other dogs are in the house.

Our new girl Hallie presented us with a beautiful litter of 6 puppers. 3 black tris and 3 blue merles born on January 10, 2008. There are 5 boys and one girl ( a nice black tri) This litter got here quickly, with the first pupper born at 6:20pm and the last at 8:22pm. The sire is ASCA CH Lakehills Smokin' Hot DNA-VP better known as "Chase"

A New Girl At Raptor Ridge

We have added a new girl to our gang. Criterias She's the Berries, AKA "Hallie Berry". Hallie is a 3 year old Black tri that we will finish and get her Championship and then continue on with Agiality and Herding. We took Hallie to a big ASCA show in Dixon and were so please when she came away with her first 5 point major. Way to go Hallie. And thanks go to Caty O'Connor and Chelsea Pendo for working together to handle Hallie to that spectacular win.

Puppers are a growing

The puppers are now 3 weeks old and growing faster than previous litters. All are very active kids and eating up a storm. Three of the puppers already have new families waiting to take them home when they reach 8 weeks old. Meanwhile, lots of visits to watch the little ones play and romp. Now this is something I didn't set up. The little ones were all asleep just lined up as you see them. Really cute. They are growing like weeds, doubled in weight since last week. Eyes will start opening the end of next week. Already they are getting around pretty good, some almost walking for a second.

Tilly surpised us with her litter coming a couple of days early. No problems. She delivered 5 Blue Merles (2 girls and 3 boys) and 2 Black Tri's (1 girl and 1 boy). All are healthy and happy. Several of the kids have already been spoken for. I think Tilly came early 'cause she knew I wanted to watch Michigan play USC in the RoseBowl.. GO BLUE

Vet Visit for Tilly

Just back from the vet and Tilly's Ultrasound to count noses. Looks like we will be having 7 little ones. May be one more hiding in there. It is hard to see, but over on the right side you can just make out two of the heads of the new puppers. Tilly has gotten huge, but still has tons of energy and runs and plays down at the barn. Whelping box is all set up and both Sam and Missy our house kitties, think it is the best place to sleep. Sam stayed with Tilly while she was in labor with her last litter, but left the box as soon as the puppers started to arrive. Only a week left to wait.

Tilly is Pregnant

Well, Tilly is definately pregnant or she swollowed a Watermelon seed. She is getting quite large. Her expected due date is Jan 4th give or take a day or so. Really looking forward to this litter as it should be a great one. Lots of Agility ability as well as a great temperment will come from this cross. Whether you are looking for a Couch Potato, a working fool, a fast dog for agility, look no further.

Tilly (GA Matilda Rose) has been bred to Garth (Raindance First Kiss at Criteria- pictured here) for a January 07 litter. We are hoping for an all color litter . This should be a great do it all litter. Check out our web page for more information and deposit forms.

Orchids are another of my hobbies

I am also into Orchids, got started over 30 years ago while we lived in Hawaii. My first orchid which was un-named, I now call K1. It is a strong and hardy plant that blooms several times a year. I have several divisions in my green house and it is a favorite of mine to give as gifts as it is so hardy, even beginners get great results from it.

I have several other favorites one is

Navaho Warrior on the Left and LC Kristie on the right. It is such a joy when they start coming into bloom. Most of my orchids are very fragrant, some are most fragrant in the evening others in the morning.

Hi, and welcome to Raptor Ridge Aussies. Would love to hear from you all. We are located up in the foothills of Northern California and have been raising Aussies for over 12 years. We got our first Aussie back in 1972 and have been hooked ever since. Since we live on a small working ranch, we first got a dog to help with our cattle, but now enjoy them for what Aussies are all about. Great companions that can do it all. Our girls love agility as well as other doggie sports.

Pictured above is Dax our old gal or 12, to the right is Rosebud our middle girl and her full sister Tilly.
